General Dog Training

Perhaps there is a specific skill you’d like to work on, perhaps you’d like to have some dedicated weekly time with your dog, or perhaps you just want to have fun together and learn some cool new tricks!

Well, whatever your situation, I can help!

Here is a breakdown of my general services, however do get in touch if you’d like something different.

• A 90-minute skills overview: An intense yet fun session where we touch on all the key skills a dog should have. These sessions include: recall, lead walking, listening skills, self control and tricks.

• A package of 3 x 1 hour sessions: With more longer-term support, you will be able to dig deeper into these skills and really challenge your dog. With practical outdoor sessions, if appropriate, these can be great fun and really rewarding.

• A package of 5 x 1 hour sessions: For those of you who really want to ‘go for it’, this will ensure you have long-term guidance to tackle skills and get the best out of your dog. This is ideal if you really want to create some dedicated time for your dog and to build your bond together.

Loose-Lead-Walk Training

Have you found yourself dreading your dogs daily walk? Perhaps you’ve had your arm yanked more times than you care to remember, or you simply know your walks could be so much better if you and your dog were more ‘aligned’?

Well I can help you, with my loose-lead-walk training! Take a look at my services:

• A 90-minute SOS: A quick low-down of all you need to train loose-lead walking. This is an intense session and your dog certainly won’t master it this quickly. But this will give you all you need to take things into your own hands.

• A package of 3 x 1 hour training sessions: To give you longer-term support and practical guidance. With clear stages at each session, I aim to guide you through all the training and go on practical walks with you. This will give you complete confidence in your training and achieve a long-term solution.

• Let the trainer train!: If you don’t have the time, let me take your dog on 5 x 30 minute walks, over the course of a month. This will kick start your dogs training and let you get on with your day. Please note that at the end of my training, I will need to ‘hand'-over’ the training to you at an additional session.

Recall Training

In my opinion recall training is the most important skill you can train a dog. It literally helps to keep them safe and alive. It also signifyingly reduces your stress on walks and allows you to thoroughly enjoy your walks with your dog - after all isn’t that one of the great joys of life?!
